There are so many activities, courses, competitions and events in which our Scouts participate, far too many to name here. Below is a list of some scouting activities and events which are a priority on 1st Durbanville’s calendar. Dates are approximate and subject to change.

The Senior Scout Adventure

A biennial, 10-day hiking adventure in the Cederberg mountains open to both South African and international Scouts.

The World Scout Jamboree

A gathering of tens of thousands of Scouts from across the world in a selected country for about ten days of scouting and fun. This is held every four years.

The South African National Jamboree (SANJAMB)

A gathering of thousands of scouts from across the country for 8 to 10 days of scouting and fun activities. This is held every two years.
